"An absolute gem of a show!  Peter Morris' witty book and lyrics perfectly compliment Michael Jeffrey's music -- inventive and stylish without pretensions.  All in all, a theatrical cocktail that only a professional misanthrope could fail to enjoy."  What's On/London

"A kind of magic.  Gushy ballads are balanced by tongue-in-cheek numbers in a deft mixture of the sentimental and the silly."  London Times

"A zippy piece of theatre, the melodies of which animate the toes happily ever after"

Evening Standard

"A bouyant, melodious and proudly melodramatic musical."  Time Out/London

"Rumbustious fun!  It's a blast!"  Independent on Sunday

"Surprise of the season!  A gorgeous little extravaganza!  The Daily Mail
