7 Men, 4 Women, Unit set

A tongue-in-cheek homage to the works of Jules Verne and H.G. Wells.  Staid Victorians are shipwrecked on a mysterious island inhabited by prehistoric monsters, cavemen and a mad scientist dabbling in genetic engineering.

Produced at the Pleasance Theatre, London (1999) and the New York International Fringe Festival (2003)

"Good musicals are an endangered species, so when one as entertaining and intelligent as Escape From Pterodactyl Island bursts from the undergrowth it is a cause for celebration... witty book and lyrics... exuberant, versatile rock and pop compositions... Go on, Escape to Pterodactyl Island."

What's On/ London

"A foot-stomping Jurassic Park... rollicking score... bouyant humour."

Time Out/London

"Original and amusing."
